Unlock Crystal-Clear Views Beneath Your Boat
Imagine gliding across your favorite lake, pinpointing fish and structure with stunning precision. The Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 63cv delivers that edge through its included GT24 transducer, blending Ultra High-Definition ClearVü scanning sonar with Garmin high wide CHIRP traditional sonar. This combo paints a remarkably detailed picture of the underwater world—baitfish schools separate from bigger game, submerged rocks and drop-offs pop into sharp focus, and bottom contours reveal hidden hotspots.
For freshwater enthusiasts, this means fewer missed strikes and more time reeling in trophies. The CHIRP technology sweeps multiple frequencies simultaneously, offering superior target separation compared to single-frequency sonar, especially in the cluttered depths of inland waters.
Navigate Inland Waters with Confidence
Preloaded LakeVü g3 inland maps cover over 17,000 U.S. lakes with up to 1-foot contours, infused with integrated Navionics data for unmatched detail. Spot marinas, ramps, hazards, and depth shading that help you plan routes and anchor safely. Whether you’re chasing bass in shallow coves or walleye along deep edges, these maps adapt to your style.
Take control further with built-in Quickdraw Contours. As you fish, the unit automatically generates personalized 1-foot contour maps in real-time—no laptop needed. Refine them on-screen, save favorites, or contribute to the Garmin Quickdraw Community via the ActiveCaptain app. It’s like having a custom lake chart that evolves with every outing.
Stay Connected and in Command
Built-in Wi-Fi opens the door to seamless integration. Pair with the free ActiveCaptain app for smart notifications, software updates, OneChart access, and community-shared Quickdraw data. From your phone, manage waypoints, routes, and even remote-control compatible devices.
NMEA 2000 compatibility links it to autopilots, VHF radios with DSC, AIS for traffic awareness, FUSION-Link audio, and more—all from one intuitive 6-inch sunlight-readable display. The quick-release bail mount or flush option makes setup straightforward, even on smaller boats.
Rugged Build for Real-World Fishing
Crafted tough with an IPX7 water rating, this compact unit (8.6 x 5.1 x 2.6 inches, 1.6 lbs) handles splashes and rough days. The WVGA display (480 x 800 pixels) shines in bright sunlight, while 500W RMS power drives sonar down to 2,300 feet at 77 kHz in freshwater. Features like sonar history rewind, bottom lock, and water temp graphs let you analyze past scans on the fly.
- Store 5,000 waypoints, 100 routes, and 50,000 track points.
- Supports dual-frequency (50/200 kHz) and dual-beam (77/200 kHz) sonar.
- Tide tables for coastal transitions.
Pro Angler Tips for Maximum Results
To dial in the GT24 transducer, mount it securely on the transom, ensuring it’s parallel to the waterline at speed. Experiment with CHIRP frequency bands—lower for deeper scans, higher for finesse in shallows. Pair with Garmin LiveScope for forward-facing views if you’re upgrading your arsenal. Remanufactured units like this one undergo rigorous Garmin testing, delivering factory-fresh performance at a value price point.
Ideal for kayak anglers, bass boats, or pontoons chasing crappie, perch, or pike—its portability and power scale perfectly.
